D2R.ORGHey Homies! Let's talk Blizzcon ideas and balance! For a looooooong time this game has had major balance issues with the lower end classes being significantly slower and more expensive for less speed. For the casual gamer who only has a couple hours to hop on and play here and there, they're probably going to choose the class that can flip the coin as many times as possible. I don't blame them! More or less, the whole point of the game is to get loot and get stronger, and with the scarcity and awesome drop rates this game has, people want to flip the coin as many times as possible, especially if they're playing a Ladder season! That leads to people choosing Sorcs, Paladins, and now, Warlocks. The other builds like melee in general, wind druid, bone necro, have been left in the dust to rot. It's true RotW introduced a new power scale to the game not only with warlock, but with the colossal jewels and renewed sunders allowing every class to get a little stronger. However, that unfortunately doesn't address the massive balance issue that plagues the game with the lower end classes and the higher end classes. I personally REALLY hope at Blizzcon 2026 here on September 12th & 13th, we get at least some balance or update that they will be adding balance changes soon. They have a PTR, they should use it!
