The short version: use the site in your browser as much as you like, be decent on the forum, own what you post, and treat our data and tools as information rather than promises. Do not scrape the site, call its API or republish its data without asking first. Privacy Policy · Copyright and Takedowns
These terms are a contract between you and D2R.ORG, the operator of D2R.ORG at d2r.org (“the site”, “we”, “us”). They cover every page, tool, tracker, feed and service we offer under that name. By visiting the site, creating an account or posting on it you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or post, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must have read these terms and agreed to them on your behalf. We do not knowingly keep accounts for anyone younger than 16; see the Privacy Policy for how we handle it when we learn of one.
D2R.ORG is a non-commercial fan project about Diablo II: Resurrected: game-data reference pages, calculators and planners, a ladder tracker, event trackers, a creators directory, a build library and a community forum. It is free to use and carries no advertising.
We may change, pause, limit or shut down any part of the site, or the whole of it, at any time and without notice. We have no duty to keep any page, feature, data set or account available, or to keep any content you or others posted.
An account needs a working e-mail address, a forum name and a password. Give true information and keep it current. The account is yours alone: keep your password to yourself, do not share or sell the account, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. Everything done through your account counts as done by you until you tell us otherwise.
Choose a forum name that is not misleading: no impersonating staff, other members, public figures or Blizzard Entertainment, and no names that are abusive or that infringe someone's rights. We may rename, suspend or close an account that breaks this rule.
You can delete your account at any time under Account. Your profile, uploads, characters, grail, notifications, sign-ins, password and e-mail address are erased and your posts stay under an anonymous ‘Deleted’ placeholder, so a conversation keeps making sense; edit or remove your posts first if you want them gone. The Privacy Policy has the details.
“Your content” is anything you post or upload: posts, replies, profile text and pages, avatars, signatures, wallpapers, builds, grail progress, reports and messages to staff. You keep every right you have in it. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to host, store, copy, reformat, display, distribute and make derivative works of it (for example thumbnails, excerpts and search snippets) for the purpose of running, promoting and improving the site, including after you delete your account where §3 says content stays. You also give other visitors the right to view and share it as the site allows.
You are responsible for your content. You promise that you have every right needed to post it and to grant this licence, that it does not break any law and that it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights. We do not review content before it is posted and are not responsible for it. We may remove, hide, edit or refuse any content for any reason, with or without notice, and we have no duty to keep a copy of anything we remove.
Builds, guides, rankings and advice posted by members are their own views. Nothing on the forum is advice from us, and we do not endorse it.
While using the site you may not:
Automated access. You may not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, scripts or any other automated means to access the site, or to copy, collect or extract its data or content — including the ladder, character, account and history pages and their analysis — without our explicit prior written permission. Ordinary search-engine indexing that follows our robots.txt is allowed.
The site's API. Our API endpoints exist only to serve the site itself. Accessing, calling or otherwise interacting with any of them from outside the site is prohibited without our explicit prior written permission.
Reuse of data. Data from the site — its pages, its API or any of its services — may not be copied into, republished on or distributed through another site, application, database or service without our written permission. Linking to pages of the site, and sharing a link or a screenshot of a page you viewed, is fine. To ask for permission, write to [email protected].
The reference pages, calculators, planners, simulators, trackers and feeds are provided for information and entertainment. They are our reading of the game's files and services and our own estimates, made in good faith and labelled where they are estimates. They may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and the game changes without notice. Nothing on the site is a promise about how the game behaves, what an item is worth, when an event will happen or how a character ranks. You use them at your own risk and check anything that matters to you against the game itself.
The ladder tracker reads rankings the game publishes. We do not control them, cannot correct them and do not vouch for them. Names on the ladder and in the trackers are character and account names chosen by their owners in the game; if one is yours and you want it hidden, write to us.
The site links to and shows material from others: videos and channels on YouTube, posts from Blizzard's official forums, our Discord server, and sites members link to. That material belongs to its owners and is governed by their terms and privacy policies, not ours. We do not control it, do not endorse it and are not responsible for it or for anything that happens on those services. Watching a video on the site loads YouTube's player; see the Privacy Policy.
Diablo®, Diablo® II: Resurrected™, Battle.net® and Blizzard Entertainment® are trademarks or registered trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. in the United States and other countries. The game, its data, names, artwork, sounds and lore are the property of Blizzard Entertainment and its licensors. D2R.ORG is an unofficial fan project, is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Blizzard, and uses that material under Blizzard's fan-content policies for non-commercial community use. Nothing here grants you any right in Blizzard's property.
The site's own work — its text, code, design, compilations, tools, trackers and the way its data is organised and presented — is ours or our licensors', protected by copyright and other laws, and all rights are reserved except as these terms allow. Our Copyright and Takedowns page says how to report content you believe infringes your rights, and what we do about it.
Our staff may edit, move, hide or remove content, lock topics, restrict features and warn, suspend or ban accounts, at their discretion and without notice, to keep the site working and its community civil. The forum's own rules, posted on the forum, form part of these terms. We may limit, suspend or end anyone's access to the site or any part of it at any time, for any reason, including a breach of these terms. Sections 4, 5 and 10 to 15 survive the end of your access.
The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability and freedom from errors or harmful components. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that defects will be fixed, or that any information on it is correct, complete or current.
Some places do not allow some of these exclusions; where that is so, they apply to the fullest extent permitted there.
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither D2R.ORG nor anyone who works on the site will be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or game progress, arising out of or in connection with the site, its content, these terms, or your use of or inability to use the site — whatever the legal theory, and even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for all claims together will not exceed the amount you paid us to use the site in the twelve months before the claim, which for this free site is nothing, or, where the law requires a minimum, that minimum.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless D2R.ORG and everyone who works on the site from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost and expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your content, your use of the site, your breach of these terms or of any law, or your infringement of anyone's rights. We may take over the defence of any matter you must indemnify us for, at your cost, and you will cooperate with us.
If you have a dispute with another member, a creator, Blizzard or anyone else you reach through the site, it is between you and them. To the fullest extent the law allows, you release D2R.ORG and everyone who works on the site from every claim, demand and damage of every kind, known or unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator of the site resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any proceedings, write to us at [email protected] describing the problem; we will try to resolve it informally within 60 days. Any dispute that remains will be brought in the courts of the place where the operator resides, and you agree to their jurisdiction, unless the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
To the extent the law allows, any claim must be brought in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding, and must be brought within one year of the events that gave rise to it, or it is barred.
We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and the change log on our repository records what changed. For a material change we will post a notice on the forum or e-mail account holders who have asked for announcements. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms; if you do not, stop using the site and delete your account.
These terms, the Privacy Policy, the Copyright and Takedowns page and the forum rules are the entire agreement between you and us about the site. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and that part is applied as far as the law allows. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms; we may assign ours to anyone who takes over the site. Nobody else has rights under these terms. Headings and the short summaries are for convenience only. The English version prevails over any translation.
