Forum rules: read before you post

These are the rules of the D2R Mythos forum. They are short on purpose. Posting here means you agree to them.

• Argue about builds, drops and numbers as hard as you like. Do not attack the person.
• No harassment, threats, slurs or hate of any kind.
• No sexual, gory or illegal content. This includes avatars, signatures and links.
• New players ask basic questions. Answer them or scroll past.

• Post in the board that fits. Staff move topics that land in the wrong place.
• Give a topic a title that says what it is about. "Help" is not a title; "Hammerdin dies to Hell Baal waves, what am I missing?" is.
• Search before you open a topic. If one exists, reply there.
• One topic per subject. Do not post the same thing in several boards and do not bump a topic with empty replies.
• When you report a problem with the site, a tool or the data, say what you did, what you expected and what you saw. Add the page address.

• No advertising, referral links or self-promotion that is not part of a real contribution.
• No real-money trading of any kind: no selling or buying items, gold, runes, accounts or services for money.
• No selling, buying or sharing of accounts.
• New accounts cannot post links until their first 3 posts. This stops spam bots and is not aimed at you.

• Never post a password, a login token, an account key, an e-mail address or a CD key. Not yours, not anyone else's. Staff will never ask you for one.
• Do not post private information about another person.
• Do not link to malware, cracked software or downloads you would not run yourself.
• Do not post private messages or screenshots of them without the other person's consent.

• One account per person.
• Do not pick a name that imitates staff, Blizzard or another member.
• Avatars and signatures follow the same rules as posts. Signatures are limited to 4 lines and 300 characters.

• Every post has a Report button. Use it instead of answering a rule-breaker in the topic. Reports go to the staff and are not shown publicly.
• Staff can edit, move, lock and remove posts and topics, and can suspend or ban accounts. Serious cases are banned without a warning.
• Staff names carry a staff icon. Anyone without one who claims to speak for Mythos does not.
• Do not argue about a moderation decision in public. If you think a decision was wrong, contact the staff on Discord: https://discord.gg/d2rmythos
