Hey there,
I’ve been seeing this error caused by “Nahimic” software. This software is rebranded as several different programs. These are:
- MSI Nahimic
- Alienware Surround Sound
- Asus Sonic Studio
The above are common examples of the Nahimic software that’s been causing crashing similar to this in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Uninstalling the program should normally resolve the issue if this is the cause.
