Game and audio stuttering/micro freezing every 5 - 10 seconds

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_ldr_escrow.200102-1707)
The CPU is on the very edge of system requirements but in this case I don’t think that’s the issue. Instead it may be worth trying to upgrade Windows to 10. I’m afraid I must report that since Win7 reached its end of life cycle we do not support it for D2R. More info on the end of life for Win7 can be found here.

I know upgrading OS is not fun but after time it can become necessary depending on the situation. I do sincerely hope the info helps. Let us know how things go.
