Computer crash when creating the game

Hey all,

If the PC is restarting or shutting down when trying to run the game in 4k resolution that sounds more like potentially a hardware or power issue within that specific system. The game client cannot force the PC to shut down, so problems like these usually tend to be due to an issue within the operating system or the hardware itself. Lowering the resolution to 1440p or 1080p would put less demand on the hardware and may be avoiding the underlying problem that is triggering the crash.

We definitely had lots of people that are successfully running the game in 4k resolution without crashing. Hopefully with some troubleshooting you are able to narrow down what is causing the hard restarts/crashes. This troubleshooting is beyond the scope of support we can officially provide, but you are welcome to communicate with each other of course if someone finds something that helps in their situation.
