Failed to initialize graphics device
“an update on my situation, I raise a ticket, reinstalled the graphics drivers and follow the steps provided, admin account, closed ap0plication not in use, repair the diablo 2 installation, I actually install battlenet again and de install all other games except for SC remaster that can actually work . Nothing works so still waiting on a solution. It is really frustating, since I have lot of time…”
Blakynt,
If you have a ticket opened I’d recommend continuing to work with Support through that. Your Omen laptop appears to meet the minimum requirements to run the game, but you should make sure that that the game is not trying to run using the Intel graphics and is instead using the GTX 1050. If you have an external monitor plugged into the laptop try unplugging it and see if the game will launch.
As for others replying earlier in the thread:
Graphics adapter: NVidia GeForce GT 550M
Intel (R) HD Graphics 3000
These are below the minimum requirements.
Bare - Looks like your Acer Swift laptop is using AMD APU graphics which are not supported and do not meet the minimum requirements.
Phoenix - AMD Radeon HD 5670 is below the minimum requirements and is not able to use the latest AMD drivers.
I’m going to go ahead and close this thread since it doesn’t appear the OP djschuby is returning. If any others come across this, first make sure that your PC and video card meet the minimum requirements for Diablo II: Resurrected. If you’re not sure, make a new thread and post a DXDIAG or submit a ticket.
