Hey there,
Definitely sounds like there’s a lot going on here. I recommend the following:
- Disable all programs on the PC (temporarily) that aren’t part of Windows, the game, or Nvidia
- Login to the Nvidia GeForce Experience, and disable any features for: Power Saving, Silent Mode, Game Overlay / recording, Game optimization, and other similar features. Basically we don’t want GeForce to be modifying games while we’re troubleshooting.
- Use DDU to uninstall the drivers, then reinstall a fresh set from the Nvidia website. This should reset some more settings that aren’t part of the GeForce Experience.
I’m hopeful that if we take things down to barebones windows (no extra running apps) and default settings we can get the ball rolling here. Definitely let us know how things go.
Cheers!
