This error means the graphics failed to initialize. Your HP laptop has Intel HD Graphics 5500 (not supported for D2R) and an Nvidia Geforce 820M card (drivers outdated from 2018)
You should try updating the Intel and Nvidia drivers to the latest versions to see if that helps. Here’s our support article which has more info about updating drivers:
