Use on the corpse of a slain monster for a chance to find a potion.
Find Potion is a Barbarian Warcry (level 1, no prerequisites, unlocks Find Item). Cast on a corpse next to you for 2 mana, it rolls once for a potion: 15% at level 1, 50% at level 5, 84% at level 20, on a curve that flattens toward 100% and only gets there at level 60. When it succeeds the potion is a healing potion 60% of the time, a mana potion 30% and a rejuvenation potion 10%. The skill's other job is as a synergy: its hard points add to Find Item's chance and to Grim Ward's damage-taken debuff.

Mana is 2 at every level (mana 2, lvlmana 0). The chance is calc1 dm12, a diminishing-returns curve from skills.txt Param1 (0, "% chance to find any potion Min") toward Param2 (100, "% chance to find any potion Max"): 15% at level 1, 50% at level 5, 68% at level 10, 78% at level 15, 84% at level 20, 88% at level 25, 91% at level
min([100 × [(110 × slvl) ÷ (slvl + 6)] ÷ 100], 100) and its table reaches100 at level 60. The line reads lvl, so +skills from items count, but at level 20 a +skill is worth about one percent. The split by potion type does not change with level: Param3 is 30 ("% chance to find Mana potion"), Param4 is 10 ("% chance to find Rejuvenation potion"), and the Basin gives the remaining 60 to healing.
The Basin's page gives the rules. You must be adjacent to the corpse, though you do not need to have it selected, and the cast uses cast rate. The potion found scales with where you are: the Basin's table runs from Light Healing and Light Mana in Normal Act 1, through Healing and Mana in Acts 2–3 and Greater in Acts 4–5, to Super Healing from Nightmare Act 3 and Super Mana from Nightmare Act 2 onward, and in all of Hell; a rejuvenation is a Full Rejuvenation from Normal Act 4 on.
Not every corpse can be searched. The Basin's list of corpses with no flesh or bones to pick through (not flagged soft in MonStats2.txt) includes Skeletons, Skeleton Archers and Mages, Doom, Abyss and Oblivion Knights, Bone Fetishes, Finger Mages, Wraiths, Willowisps, Swarms, Thorned Hulks, Blood Hawk Nests, Gargoyle Traps and Tentacle Beast tentacles; the usual corpse restrictions apply on top.
Find Potion has no synergies of its own: no dsc3 line and no synergy calc. It feeds two skills, both by hard points only (blvl):
Find Potion's own line reads lvl, so +skills from items raise its chance but give the two synergies nothing. The Basin's page says +1–3 Find Potion can spawn on a primal helm of item level 36 or lower, and that Heart Carver gives +4.
Find Potion never touches a player; it is cast on a corpse and only produces a potion. There is nothing here for the player-versus-player rule to cut, see Player versus Player.
Written from the game's tables (build 3.3.93847) and the cited pages; a per-level table is computed from skills.txt and skilldesc.txt by the same evaluator the skill pages use. A “legacy rule” is a published engine rule no table proves; a “game table” is read from the table named. · Report incorrect data
