Hey there Brewtus,
Thanks for getting back with the Dxdiag as it does have clues to explain why Diablo 2: Resurrected is crashing when it gets to the menu. I’m afraid the news won’t be what’s desired though.
The graphics being used are the integrated Intel HD Graphics 530. The minimum requirements for Diablo 2: Resurrected are either a dedicated card such as Nvidia GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7850. Integrated graphics are generally not supported for Diablo 2: Resurrected. Some players have gotten them to work, yet the performance is generally not that good and crashing can occur. More specifically to your case, I suspect the game is trying to do something with the graphics that a more powerful card wouldn’t have problems doing when it loads the menu. All we can advise is to get a GPU that’s meets or exceeds the minimum specs.
For reference, the minimum and recommended specs are here.
If the purchase was recent, a refund may be desired. The self service should work but you can also create a ticket to ask if one can be done. Here’s a link to help with that.
