Sorry to hear that you’ve been experiencing disconnections while playing Diablo II Resurrected. We definitely monitor the status and health of both the game servers and the Blizzard network overall, and I will say that we haven’t seen any widespread issues with the servers or Blizzard network itself that would be causing disconnections like you describe.

The vast majority of players are able to connect and play the game online from both consoles and PCs without any disconnection issues. There will of course always be some reports of disconnections just due to the nature of the internet and how the client server model works. Generally people don’t post to say if they are connecting and playing fine.

If you’re using a wifi connection to the router, would you be able to try hooking up a wired ethernet connection and test that out? A good chunk of the reports we see about disconnections are due to wireless issues, so that is one of the first things we want to try and rule out if disconnects are happening.

There may also be issues with the stability of the connection between your internet provider’s network and the Blizzard network, for example packet loss or congestion issues on the network that can lead to disconnects. Sometimes these problems may only “trigger” with certain applications or games, since every application will use the connection in a different way and some may be more tolerant to packet loss issues. If you have the ability to try connecting the console through a mobile data hotspot that may be one way to determine if the problem is only happening on the home network.
