What it does

passive - increases the damage of your cold spells by piercing enemies' resistances to cold.

How Cold Mastery works, in depthThe Sorceress's cold passive, which pierces resistance instead of adding damage. -20% enemy cold resistance at level 1 and -5% a level, -115% at level 20, the -100% floor that makes level 17 enough against most monsters, the one-fifth rate against sundered immunes, and why it also lengthens every chill and freeze.
