Erupt your demon's blood to damage nearby enemies.
Blood Boil is a Warlock attack cast through a demon (Demon Skills, level 18, requires Death Mark, unlocks Engorge). It needs a demon out (requirespettype 1, pettype demon) and deals two damage ranges in a radius around it, one physical and one fire, each identical at every level, while taking a share of the demon's life as its price. The numbers that decide it are the 194–258 physical plus 194–258 fire at level 20 and the 5% life floor the price settles at.

max(ln12, 5): Param1 (15) plus Param2 (−1) a level, floored at 5%, so 15% at level 1 and 5% from level 11 on. With two demons out the row uses calc2, max(ln12 ÷ 2, 5), and with three calc3, max(ln12 ÷ 3, 5): the share is split among them, never below 5 each.aurarangecalc steps 6, 9 and 12 at the same levels. The damage and cost lines read lvl, so +skills from items count; the synergies read blvl.
The eruption is centred on the demon and hits what is in the radius; there is no attack rating on the row, so it does not roll Chance to Hit. The physical half goes through Dealing Physical Damage and the fire half through Dealing Elemental Damage and the target's fire resistance. The row's calc4 (3) is its "Hit Delay". Blood Boil is also a skill your Summon Tainted casts on its own, at the level of your hard points in Blood Boil (sumsk3calc = skill('Blood Boil'.blvl)).
The price is the demon's life, not yours, and it is a percentage: at level 1 a cast costs the demon 15% of its life; from level 11 on it is 5% a cast with one demon, split with the floor of 5% each when two or three are out.
Two synergy lines, both read from hard points (blvl) and both Param8 (20): Blood Oath, +20% Fire Damage per Level (EDmgSymPerCalc) and Engorge, +20% Damage per Level (DmgSymPerCalc, the physical range). Blood Boil in turn feeds Summon Tainted: its hard points add fire damage per level to the Tainted's Fire Ball and set the level of the Blood Boil the Tainted casts.
A player's hit on another player is cut to 17% of its value (difficultylevels.txt PlayerDamagePercentVSPlayer) before anything else, see Player versus Player; both ranges are cut the same way. The table has no other player-specific value.
Written from the game's tables (build 3.3.93847) and the cited pages; a per-level table is computed from skills.txt and skilldesc.txt by the same evaluator the skill pages use. A “legacy rule” is a published engine rule no table proves; a “game table” is read from the table named. · Report incorrect data
