Enhances arrows or bolts to cause severe fire damage and creates a pyre upon impact.
Immolation Arrow is a level 24 Amazon skill (Bow and Crossbow tree, requires Exploding Arrow). The arrow explodes like Exploding Arrow and then leaves a pyre that burns the ground for a few seconds. The numbers that decide it are the explosion, 416–427 fire at level 20, and the 0.6-second casting delay that limits how often it fires.

The tooltip's two pyre lines, fire duration and average fire damage per second, read the missile table, which the repo's bank does not hold, so they are not in the embed. The Basin's page gives the pyre's length as 99 frames, 3.96 seconds, and its D2R table lists the displayed damage per second as 14–28 at level 1, 32–46 at 5, 58–72 at 10, 87–101 at 15 and 121–140 at 20.
The damage and attack-rating lines read lvl; the synergies read hard points.
The arrow needs the attack-rating check (Chance to Hit) and carries 100% of weapon damage (SrcDam 128), at the normal attack's rate (Attack Speed) but no faster than the casting delay allows, see Casting Speed. The Basin's page says the explosion goes off on impact or expiry whether or not the arrow hit, needs a hit to explode again on a Piercing Attack, and cannot be blocked; nor can the pyre. Unlike Exploding Arrow, the skill's fire damage is applied by both the arrow and the explosion, and so is the weapon's fire damage. Fire Skill Damage from items raises the explosion only; the Basin's page is explicit that, despite what the tooltip shows, it does not raise the pyre. All of it is reduced by Fire Resist, see Dealing Elemental Damage.
The pyre, by the Basin's page, is 29 fires covering every sub-tile within 2 yards, each applying damage every frame for 99 frames. How many touch a target depends on its size: one fire for a size 1 monster, up to five for size 2, up to nine for size 3.
The tooltip's damage per second assumes three fires. By the Basin's page a size 1 target takes a third of the displayed figure, a size 2 target up to five thirds, a size 3 target up to three times it.
The same page notes that any damage in a frame stops a monster's regeneration, so a monster standing in a pyre does not regenerate while it burns.
Two synergy lines. Exploding Arrow, +10% fire damage per level comes from EDmgSymPerCalc = skill('Exploding Arrow'.blvl) × par8 with Param8 = 10 and raises the explosion. Fire Arrow, +5% average fire damage per second per level raises the pyre; the Basin's page writes it as 5 × Fire Arrow hard points. Both count hard points only. No skill reads Immolation Arrow's points. +skills from items raise the explosion's brackets and the attack rating.
A player's hit on another player is cut to 17% of its value (difficultylevels.txt PlayerDamagePercentVSPlayer) before anything else, see Player versus Player. The Basin's page says nothing more about this skill against players.
Written from the game's tables (build 3.3.93847) and the cited pages; a per-level table is computed from skills.txt and skilldesc.txt by the same evaluator the skill pages use. A “legacy rule” is a published engine rule no table proves; a “game table” is read from the table named. · Report incorrect data
