Passive: increases natural resistances to elemental and poison damage.
Natural Resistance is the last Barbarian Mastery (level 30, requires Iron Skin, passive, no mana). Every point adds the same percentage to all four of your resistances, fire, cold, lightning and poison, on a curve that climbs fast and flattens: +12% at level 1, +40% at level 5, +67% at level 20, never more than +80%. The curve is the decision: the first five points are worth 40, the next fifteen are worth 27.

The bonus is a diminishing-returns curve from skills.txt Param1 (0, "Resistance % Min") toward Param2 (80, "Resistance % Max"): +12% at level 1, +40% at level 5, +54% at level 10, +62% at level 15, +67% at level 20, +70% at level 25, +72% at level 30. The Basin's page writes it as min([80 × [(110 × slvl) ÷ (slvl + 6)] ÷ 100], 80) and its table reaches the 80 only at level 60. The row carries the curve four times, once per element (passivestat1–4 are fireresist, lightresist, coldresist and poisonresist, each with passivecalc dm12), and the tooltip prints them as one "Resist All" line. The line reads lvl, so +skills from items count, but at level 20 a +skill is worth about half a percent. There is no mana and no duration.
The four bonuses are added to your resistances whenever the skill has at least one point, the same way a Fire Resist or Poison Resist line on an item is. They are subject to the same ceiling as every other resistance source: your maximum resistance is 75% in each element unless a maximum-resist item raises it, and Natural Resistance does not raise the maximum, so anything it adds past the cap is wasted. See Resistances and Immunities for the cap and the difficulty penalties and Taking Damage for where resistance sits in the chain: it cuts the elemental part of a hit after damage reduction and before absorb.
The bonus is to resistance, not to maximum resistance: at the 75% cap a level 20 Natural Resistance gives nothing more than a level 10 one.
It does nothing against physical or magic damage; the row has no magicresist stat and the Basin's page lists only the four elements.
No synergies: Natural Resistance has no dsc3 line and no synergy calc, nothing feeds it and it feeds nothing. Its one line reads lvl, so a +skill from an item counts, but on the diminishing curve the value of each extra level shrinks: 40 points for the first five levels, 27 for the next fifteen, 5 for the ten after that. The Basin's page says +1–3 Natural Resistance can spawn on a primal helm of item level 37 or higher. The skill requires a point in Iron Skin.
Natural Resistance never touches a player; it raises only the Barbarian's own four resistances, which cut an incoming elemental hit in the usual order, after a player's hit has been reduced to 17% of its value (difficultylevels.txt PlayerDamagePercentVSPlayer), see Player versus Player.
