Releases a volley of expanding hellfire in all directions that pushes enemies away.
Ring of Fire is a Warlock fire attack (Chaos Skills, level 6, no prerequisite, unlocks Flame Wave). It sends the ringoffire missile out in every direction from you, 16 of them at first and 32 from level 10, each carrying the row's fire damage. The numbers that decide it are each missile's hit, 152–175 fire damage at level 20, and the count, 32 from level 10.

(lvl >= 10) ? 32 : 16: 16 missiles at levels 1 to 9 and 32 from level 10, with no further step. Param1 (5, "number of missiles") is not read by the calc. The count is a two-value step, so it is stated here rather than in the table.ringoffire row of missiles.txt (its Param1), not this skill's row, so this page cannot compute it.sHitParam were 0. calc3 and cltcalc1 (0) are the missile velocity adder. The damage reads lvl, so +skills from items count; the synergy terms read blvl.
Each of the 16 or 32 missiles is its own fire hit (EType fire) that goes through the target's fire resistance and nothing else, see Dealing Elemental Damage. The row has no ToHit, no SrcDam and no attack rating: the missiles always hit what they touch and carry none of your weapon's damage. The same missile fills all three server missile slots (srvmissilea, b and c). The game's description says the volley pushes enemies away; the row has no knockback column of its own, so the push belongs to the missile. The row names no aura, state or periodic column.
The count doubles at level 10 and never again; the damage in the table is per missile, and the row gives no figure for how many of them one enemy takes.
Two damage synergies, each +10% fire damage per hard point (Param8, EDmgSymPerCalc): Flame Wave and Apocalypse. Both read blvl. Ring of Fire in turn gives +15% fire damage and +10% average fire damage per second per hard point to Flame Wave, and +10% fire damage per hard point to Apocalypse. There is no mastery line on the row.
A player's hit on another player is cut to 17% of its value (difficultylevels.txt PlayerDamagePercentVSPlayer) before anything else, see Player versus Player; each missile's fire damage is cut the same way. The table has no separate player value for the push.
Written from the game's tables (build 3.3.93847) and the cited pages; a per-level table is computed from skills.txt and skilldesc.txt by the same evaluator the skill pages use. A “legacy rule” is a published engine rule no table proves; a “game table” is read from the table named. · Report incorrect data
