Unleashes a rolling wall of fire that burns the ground in its wake.
Flame Wave is a Warlock fire attack (Chaos Skills, level 18, requires Ring of Fire, unlocks Apocalypse). It casts the flamewaveunveiling missile, a wall of fire that rolls away from you across a width set by level and leaves burning ground behind it. The numbers that decide it are the wave's hit, 233–264 fire damage at level 20, and its width, 13 yards from level 10.

dm12, the table's "# of half of flamewave missiles for width", a diminishing curve from Param1 (4, "Width baseline") toward Param2 (7, "Max length"), so the wave is 9 yards wide at level 1, 11 at level 5 and 13 from level 10, where it stays.par3: Param3 (17, "flame wave delay"), 17 frames, 0.68 seconds, at every level.localdelay 15, 15 frames: 0.6 seconds at every level.flamewavefire and flamewave rows of missiles.txt rather than this skill's row, so this page cannot compute them. The damage and the width read lvl, so +skills from items count; the synergy terms read blvl.
The wave is a missile, and its hit is fire damage (EType fire) that goes through the target's fire resistance and nothing else, see Dealing Elemental Damage. The row has no ToHit, no SrcDam and no attack rating: the wave always hits what it touches and carries none of your weapon's damage. The burning ground the game's description names is the flamewavefire missile, whose damage per second and duration are the two lines this page cannot compute. Each cast is held back by the 0.6-second casting delay, see Casting Speed; the row names no aura, state, periodic column or summon.
The width stops growing at level 10 (13 yards); past that, levels and +skills buy damage only.
Two synergies, each with two lines: Ring of Fire and Apocalypse add +15% fire damage per hard point to the wave (Param8, EDmgSymPerCalc) and +10% average fire damage per second per hard point to the burning ground (Param9). Both read blvl. Flame Wave in turn gives +10% fire damage per hard point to Ring of Fire and to Apocalypse (their Param8). There is no mastery line on the row.
A player's hit on another player is cut to 17% of its value (difficultylevels.txt PlayerDamagePercentVSPlayer) before anything else, see Player versus Player; the wave's fire damage is cut the same way. The table has no separate player value for the burning ground.
Written from the game's tables (build 3.3.93847) and the cited pages; a per-level table is computed from skills.txt and skilldesc.txt by the same evaluator the skill pages use. A “legacy rule” is a published engine rule no table proves; a “game table” is read from the table named. · Report incorrect data
