Teleport is a Sorceress Lightning skill (level 18, requires Telekinesis) and, with Chain Lightning, a prerequisite of Energy Shield. It has no damage, no duration and no radius: it moves the Sorceress, her mercenary and her pets to the point you click, at once. The only number on the skill is the mana, 24 at level 1 and one less a level, and the only thing a level buys is a cheaper cast.

The whole tooltip is the mana line. The row's mana is 24 with lvlmana −1 (manashift 8), so the cost falls by 1 a level: 20 at level 5, 15 at level 10, 10 at level 15, 5 at level 20. The row's minmana is 1 and the tooltip's calc is max(usmc, 1), so it never falls below 1 mana, which it reaches at level 24 and keeps from there. The line reads lvl, so +skills from items lower the cost the same as hard points; that is why a single hard point is the usual investment.
The Basin's page says that in its era a level above 24 could be cast with no mana at all; the current table's minmana of 1 is the number that holds.
Teleport is cast at casting speed, so the Sorceress's Faster Cast Rate breakpoints are the whole speed of the skill: a faster cast is a faster chain of teleports. The Basin's page describes the rules of the destination: the caster, her dependent mercenary and pets are transported to the targeted point; the target does not have to be in line of sight, despite the game's own description, but there must be room for the caster to stand. Converted monsters and Returned (reanimates) do not teleport with the caster.
The Basin also describes what happens to the followers on arrival: while teleporting, dependants are stacked on top of the caster and are targeted by missile attacks instead of her. She can still be hit by melee attacks, by persistent or piercing missiles, and by any radial effect. There is no damage type, no attack roll, no leech and nothing that a resistance could reduce.
Teleport cannot be cast in town (the Basin's page: Town = No).
Teleport has no synergies and feeds no synergy line. Its mana line reads lvl, so every +skill from gear is worth a hard point, −1 mana, down to the floor of 1. Other classes get the skill as an oskill from the Enigma runeword (+1 Teleport, the Basin's page), and that single level costs 24 mana a cast with nothing to reduce it but +skills that apply to oskills.
Teleport moves the Sorceress and never touches a player, so the player-versus-player rule has nothing to reduce. See Player versus Player for the rule that applies to the skills you cast after landing.
Written from the game's tables (build 3.3.93847) and the cited pages; a per-level table is computed from skills.txt and skilldesc.txt by the same evaluator the skill pages use. A “legacy rule” is a published engine rule no table proves; a “game table” is read from the table named. · Report incorrect data
