Creates a golem that shares with you the life it steals.
Blood Golem is a level 18 Necromancer spell (Summoning tree, requires Clay Golem; it unlocks Iron Golem). It summons a single BloodGolem melee pet, needs no corpse, can be cast in town, and replaces any other golem. Its one trick is life steal: every successful hit returns a percentage of the damage as life, 86% at level 1 and 138% at level 20 towards a cap of 150%, and 30% of what it steals goes to you. In the other direction 25% of your potion healing goes to it. Its own growth is +20% life and +55% damage a level past the first. Mana is 25 at level 1 and 82 at level 20.

dm12, "Lifesteal %", the diminishing curve between Param1 75 ("Lifesteal % Min") and Param2 150 ("Lifesteal % Max"), which the Basin writes as min(75 + 75 × (110 × level ÷ (level + 6)) ÷ 100, 150): 86% at level 1, 126% at level 10, 138% at level 20, 143% at level 30. Above 100% the golem gains more life than it dealt.ln56 (25 a level) plus 20 per hard point in Clay Golem (passivecalc2). Defense is 120 plus 35 per hard point in Iron Golem (passivecalc4).The steal, the life percentage and the damage percentage read the golem's full level (lvl); Golem Mastery is read at full level; the Clay, Iron and Fire Golem lines read hard points (blvl).
The golem is a golem pet with a melee attack that rolls Chance to Hit like a monster. The steal fires on its own melee damage (auraevent "domeleedamage"). The Basin's rules:
The share to you is 30% of a steal on hits that are not yours. Blood Golem heals itself far faster than it heals the Necromancer; the 25% of your potions it takes is the other half of the bargain.
Three tooltip lines name the other golems, each read as hard points:
In return Blood Golem's own Param8 5, "Blood Golem HP % synergy", is +5% life per hard point to Clay Golem, Iron Golem and Fire Golem, inside their life multiplication. Golem Mastery is read at full level, so +skills raise what it lends; the cross-synergies move only with hard points. The Basin lists Bloodmoon and the Death runeword as sources of the skill through charges.
The Necromancer casts nothing on a player with this skill. The golem's hits on a player are physical melee hits cut to 17% by the player-versus-player rule, and the steal is read from the damage that lands; the Basin's page records no other player-versus-player rule. See Player versus Player.
Written from the game's tables (build 3.3.93847) and the cited pages; a per-level table is computed from skills.txt and skilldesc.txt by the same evaluator the skill pages use. A “legacy rule” is a published engine rule no table proves; a “game table” is read from the table named. · Report incorrect data
