Creates a golem that converts the damage it receives from fire into life.
Fire Golem is the level 30 Necromancer spell at the end of the Summoning tree's golem line (requires Iron Golem; it unlocks nothing). It summons a single FireGolem melee pet, needs no corpse, can be cast in town and replaces any other golem. It does three things: it absorbs fire damage as life, 36% at level 1 and 88% at level 20; it adds fire damage to its hits, 10–27 at level 1 and 197–233 at level 20; and it carries a Holy Fire aura whose level is 7 plus the skill's, capped at 30. When it dies it explodes. Mana is the steepest of the golems, 50 at level 1 and 202 at level 20.

dm12, the diminishing curve between Param1 25 ("Fire Absorb % Min") and Param2 100 ("Fire Absorb % Max"), set as item_absorbfire_percent (aurastatcalc2): 36% at level 1, 76% at level 10, 88% at level 20, 93% at level 30. The golem's fire resistance is set in the same row as 100 − dm12 (aurastatcalc1), so resistance and absorb always sum to 100: 64% and 36% at level 1, 12% and 88% at level 20. The Basin's older page has a different pair, a resistance of 175 minus the curve and an absorb it says was capped at 40%; the current table carries neither.edmn and edmx times its Param5), which the repo's bank cannot compute for this page; the Basin's totals, aura included, are 37–66 at level 1 and 401–449 at level 20.min(ln56, 30): Param5 7 ("Holy Fire Level baseline") plus Param6 1 a level, so level 8 at skill level 1, 27 at level 20 and 30 from level 23 on. The Basin's table gives the aura's pulse at level 27 as 34–36 fire damage over a 21⅓-yard radius, and at its cap 43.5–45.5 over 23⅓ yards.monstercorpseexplode, calc2 100 physical and calc3 100 fire damage over a radius of calc4 6; the Basin's page lists the radius as 4 yards.ln56 plus 20 per hard point in Clay Golem (passivecalc2). Defense is 200 plus 35 per hard point in Iron Golem (passivecalc3).The absorb, the fire damage and the aura level read the golem's full level (lvl); Golem Mastery is read at full level; the three golem cross-synergies read hard points (blvl).
The golem is a golem pet with a melee attack that rolls Chance to Hit like a monster, and its Holy Fire aura pulses fire damage on everything around it as the Paladin's does. The Basin's rules:
The mana climbs 8 a level, 202 at level 20 and 282 at level 30, for a golem whose life comes entirely from Golem Mastery and Blood Golem points. It is the most expensive recast in the tree.
Three tooltip lines name the other golems, each read as hard points:
In return Fire Golem's own Param8 6, "Fire Golem Damage % synergy", is +6% damage per hard point to Clay Golem, Blood Golem and Iron Golem. Golem Mastery is read at full level; the cross-synergies move only with hard points.
The Necromancer casts nothing on a player with this skill. The golem's melee hits and its Holy Fire pulses on a player are cut to 17% by the player-versus-player rule, the fire parts then read against the player's fire resistance; the Basin's page records no other player-versus-player rule. See Player versus Player.
