Passive - improve your mastery over the entropic forces of shadow magic.
Enhanced Entropy is a Warlock passive (Chaos Skills, level 24, requires Miasma Chain, unlocks Abyss). It is passive 1 with the shadow_mastery state and costs no mana: it is never cast. What it does is read by other rows: the miasma clouds of Miasma Bolt and Miasma Chain and the tear of Abyss look up its level. The numbers that decide it are the cloud's extra duration, 4 seconds at level 20, and the extra Abyss radius, 4 yards at the same level.

minmana 0): a passive has no cast.min(lvl, 20) ÷ 5: 0.2 yards a level, 1 yard at level 5, 2 at level 10, 4 at level 20, where the cap holds.min(lvl × 5, 100) ÷ 25: 5 frames a level, 0.2 seconds a level, 2 seconds at level 10, 4 seconds at level 20, where the 100-frame cap holds. The cloud rows of Miasma Bolt and Miasma Chain read the same term, the skill's level times a cloud parameter capped at 100 frames, in their own duration lines.(lvl >= 10) ? 4 : (lvl >= 5) ? 3 : 2: the clouds are 2 yards across at levels 1 to 4, 3 from level 5 and 4 from level 10, with no step past that. All three lines read lvl, so +skills from items count, and the two capped lines reach their caps at level 20 whether the points are hard or not.
Enhanced Entropy has no effect of its own: it is a level that other skills' rows and missiles read. The duration lines of Miasma Bolt and Miasma Chain add Enhanced Entropy level × a cloud parameter, capped at 100 frames, to the cloud's own length; the radius line printed on this skill's tooltip is the miasma cloud's radius at that level; and the Abyss line is the extra radius added to Abyss's explosion (its own calc1 is a flat 6 yards). The row has no damage, no ToHit, no aura and no state on anyone but you.
Both capped lines stop at level 20: a level 25 Enhanced Entropy from +skills still gives 4 seconds and 4 yards. The miasma radius stopped growing at level 10.
No synergies: the row has no synergy calc and the skilldesc has no dsc3 line, and no skill's synergy calc reads Enhanced Entropy's hard points. It is read by level (lvl) in the duration lines of Miasma Bolt and Miasma Chain and in the radius of Abyss, so +skills from items count in full; All Skills, Class Skill Levels and Skill Tab Levels all raise it.
Enhanced Entropy never touches a player itself. What it adds to Miasma Bolt, Miasma Chain and Abyss is part of those skills, whose damage is cut to 17% against a player (difficultylevels.txt PlayerDamagePercentVSPlayer), see Player versus Player; the extra duration and radius have no separate player value in the table.
lvl: a +skill is worth exactly as much as a hard point here, and the caps land at level 20.Written from the game's tables (build 3.3.93847) and the cited pages; a per-level table is computed from skills.txt and skilldesc.txt by the same evaluator the skill pages use. A “legacy rule” is a published engine rule no table proves; a “game table” is read from the table named. · Report incorrect data
