Every post Blizzard's community managers and news account write on the official Diablo II: Resurrected forum — announcements, patch notes, ladder and maintenance news and their replies — copied word for word, with a link back to where it was said. Turn on alerts and the next one lands in your bell.
Hey Aventuier, Thanks for the report! This is the Diablo 2: Resurrected forums with Diablo 2(2000) having it’s own forums. I did poke some people to get some eyes on what’s happening and will be posting any updates on the situation here.
Hey there Rhaidor, Black screens without a crash or with the “not responding” may be due to a driver problem or interfering program. A couple general ideas to troubleshoot this that weren’t already listed would be: I would assume the graphics driver is as up-to-date as possible.…
Hey there, I was able to find crash reports for your client and digging through them The only thing that stood out is you appear to be playing on Windows 7 (Or in a compatibility mode for Windows 7) Diablo II: Resurrected Requires Windows 10. It can and does run on older…
Hey there, So if Windows is up to date and all drivers for GPU, Audio and System board have been updated then the next likely culprit is corrupted data or a software conflict of some kind. Especially if the issue was intermittent and then gradually got worse to the 100% you are…
Hey there, Nothing stands out in the information you provided that may cause this. Was there an error code or crash ID provided with the crash? Or did the client just close? If you can give some additional details about what exactly you are seeing happen and also provide us with…
Hey there, Please do not necro old posts. If you cannot find a current active post with your issue, it is best to create a new post for it. This however is not a technical issue but an account issue, so community based troubleshooting won’t be possible via the forums. What I can…
Hey everyone, Thank you all for reporting this! We’ve got eyes on this issue (it’s also affecting World of Warcraft & Overwatch 2), and we hope to see this resolved shortly. We’ll provide any necessary updates in this thread as they become available.
Hey there, The workflow for connecting your console account to Battle.net should have given you the website address for where to enter the code. Hopefully you were able to find it. You can manage your console connections to Battle.net on this page: h…
Hey there, So I was able to find the crash reports for your game client and each of the 17 crashes point to something with the GPU and Directx 12. This indicates a potential driver issue though there could also be some client corruption or even interference from other programs…
Hey there, PC crashes requiring hard restarts can often mean there’s some kind of instability within the operating system or with the hardware. I recommend checking out the information in these articles for troubleshooting: Blizzard Support Diablo II: Resurrected Lockups and…
Answering DarkMaster-1989: “Thanks for the info Pez, would’ve preferred there to be a forum blue post on the ladder reset date as soon as the D4 livestream announced it…”
Yeah - Sorry on that. I guess I didn’t think about the ‘reset’ portion of it and more so assumed the community would recall from prior seasons that resets occurred 15 minutes prior to the new season starting. Will be more mindful and reiterate that in the future for new seasons.
Answering W4rL4wd-1835: “Also we have no official statement from d2r team ladder is even resetting.”
Ladder will reset on May 4th with the start of the new season. Typically, ladder resets occur 15 minutes prior to the start of the new ladder. New ladders have consistently started at 5pm pacific time globally and will continue that way for Season 4. Patch Notes will hit a few…
Howdy, Without system files, it’s difficult to determine the root cause. To help narrow down the problem though, let’s try disabling all other programs temporarily. If this persists, let’s get a DxDiag system file so we can take a closer look: Press Windows Key + R. Type DxDiag…
Howdy HiGGSY8, Unfortunately there is no way to restore these hardcore characters. This is explained on our support article here. The most we can do is provide some technical troubleshooting that may help you avoid similar problems in the future. If you would like go through…
Howdy! This can occur if the FPS is changing wildly or is outside the refresh rate range of the monitor’s Freesync/gsync feature. I recommend the following: In game goto Options → Video → Enable Vertical Sync. (Retest) If the issue continues try setting FrameRate Cap of 60.…
Sadly if the PC shuts off, that is a sign of a hardware problem, such as a PSU not delivering enough power while the system is under load or a hardware issue with one of the components. Given the sudden shutoff, the Dxdiag and Msinfo likely don’t have enough time to log any…
Howdy! Moved your reply to a new thread as it wasn’t replied to the thread you posted in. This is an issue of acquiring memory. I recommend the following troubleshooting steps: Disable background programs to help rule out a third party software conflict and free up system…
