Hey again, Looks like it’s only the Asia servers that look like they’re mostly recovered - we’re looking into the other issues. Updating the title. Thanks for the extra info.
Hey all, There was an issue with the Asia region servers earlier this morning, but it should be resolved now. We appreciate your patience while we worked on this.
Answering Gulgir-2215: “Maintenance concluded or not? Playing hardcore and i don’t want to risk a death. Anyone seen a post somehwere?”
Still testing - it’s recovering but I’d use caution playing hardcore until we confirm it’s fixed on twitter or this thread.
Answering Klive-11847: “It’s installed on my F which is my external SSD”
That’s almost certainly the cause. External SSDs have to go through a path on your PC which is slower than the SATA or PCIe buses and has a lower priority in Windows. Try reinstalling the game to either of your internal drives and you should get significantly improved load…
Hey all, There’s currently a server issue happening which is causing character lists to be blank. This is not the same problem that we’ve been talking about in this thread. The server folks are on this and working to restore access to the game, but if your characters just seem…
Answering Klive-11847: “DXDiag: DxDiag - Pastebin.com MSInfo is too big for pastebin and any alternative i can find to post it here”
Klive, Which of your harddrives is this installed on - C:, D:, or your external F:\ drive?
Answering KeanuReeves-1774: “I didn’t make the post or my problem revolved around the video card. Just laid out my specs.”
I think some of you may be having different issues. KeanuReeves, To clarify, are you completely unable to load into the game because you can’t see the character select screen at all? Usually when I see that in our games it means the client is out of date or broken, your graphics…
Dubbio87, That error you’re getting is a network overload. Usually it happens when the router is flooded or your network device is malfunctioning. I’d start by power cycling your router. If it doesn’t work, and you’re on wifi, try swapping to an ethernet cable and usually…
Hey all, We’ve escalated the players here who have been stuck for over a day and the developers are trying to find out why your specific characters are not unlocking. I understand that for those of you who ARE getting locked, it’s extremely frustrating to be unable to log in.…
Hey all, We appreciate the continued reports. We do still have a limited number of lockouts occurring, which aren’t fixing themselves with the new system we put in. We have a script running once every ~24 hours to remove those characters. For those who have been online for much…
Answering PiT-22120: “I was able to fix the issue. After uninstalling the game, the Bnet Client showed a “Buy” button which I used to buy the game and then everyt…”
Thanks for following up on the issue. Not having the game would also definitely cause this error. Glad you’re all fixed up, though!
“Today I tried to login to D2R for the first time on my PC and for several hours I have been getting the following message: “You have not been online in the last 30 days. Please start the game while online to check for any login agreements”. ” PiT, Usually when I see this when…
Answering Drakuloth: “Hey there folks, Just poking my head back in here to clarify something and let you know this is still on our radar, and one of the things QA…”
Hello again everybody. What a hell of a trip it’s been. Drakuloth here for the last time in this thread, to lock it up and make sure the latest post has all the info on it so folks can find what they need in case they have any residual issues. As of yesterday, the AVX issue is…
Answering Atomicpanda-1279: “Drakuloth: If you crash or disconnect in the middle of using items, you can lose them because they’re not in a spot the game server can save…”
It’s definitely something we can keep an eye out for to see if there’s a fix, but that’s more of a #bug-report. You’re in the tech support forums, which is why I was offering to help troubleshoot the crashes with you to prevent any more issues. That’s really all we do here, but…
Bethsman, It looks like you’re using an Intel Integrated GPU. If that’s the only graphics card in your PC, it meet the system requirements, which require GPUs from Nvidia or AMD currently. Because of this we can’t guarantee the game will work on your PC. You can attempt to…
I checked all of you out and all of you except Bethsman were having the same problem - a known issue that the devs are working on. Our latest post on this is here. We probably won’t have any more updates for a few days but you can follow this thread for updates as we get them.…
Atomicpanda, If you crash or disconnect in the middle of using items, you can lose them because they’re not in a spot the game server can save them. You can recover your Horadric cube by going back to the Halls of the Dead. Any other items that get lost would need to be…
Se0ng11, It seems like the problem isn’t with our applications. If you check the percentages in your screenshot, you’ll see that we’re only using 2% of the CPU across all of our processes. The other 28% would be other things. I’d try closing other programs while playing which…
