This patch, to my understanding, removes any AVX requirement to run the game code.

“There are already some reports coming in of systems still not loading the game. Could you or the staff clarify what error report are needed if people seek assistance? ” The more information the better. For forum purposes we only request DxDiag instead of the Msinfo (more of a…

“A thank you to you and the forum mods for sticking with us and keeping us posted. It is apreciated. ” If anything, big shout out for Drakuloth. Drak is the main one that put in the time for the communication on this thread. I just happen to be the messenger of good news today…
“AVX ” To my understanding it was just a first gen AVX that was accidently put in during the launch version. The i5-4460 has up to AVX2 support so wouldn’t have any problems that require AVX. Something else to check though is if your motherboard also supports AVX technology.…
Check again. Update the game client. A fix went in not too long ago .

“Still experiencing issue, same black sreen with: AMD Ryzen 3600 & GTX 1650 - Beta was working well ” This is going to be unrelated to this thread / issue. Please make a new thread with the information. Be sure to include a DxDiag along with any crash error report.

“can’t play argh ” “Display Devices Card name: NVIDIA NVS 510 Driver Date/Size: 7/21/2015 ” Nvidia NVS graphics cards are not supported either I’m afraid. The NVS line of cards are not designed for “gaming” so they do not receive frequent driver updates like the Geforce line of…

10/4 update from PezRadar “Late Monday update: Some good news. Testing has come back and it is looking like we will be able to address AVX issues without impacting other users. We expect to have an update on this soon. We will patch notes when that is available and ready. ”
Hey Carbusted, Most of the problems we’ve seen with being unable to play are due to either the AVX issue or using unsupported integrated graphics. If you’re not sure if either of these apply to you, we can take a look at your DXDIAG if you’d like to post it. DXDIAG Press Windows…

Monday update here: Testing should wrap up by EOD today. We should have a clearer picture on everything by mid-week. Only thing that would change this is if QA discovers something with performance on machines here by EOD.

It’s definitely something we can keep an eye out for to see if there’s a fix, but that’s more of a #bug-report. You’re in the tech support forums, which is why I was offering to help troubleshoot the crashes with you to prevent any more issues. That’s really all we do here, but…
